How many times...

...will I have to do an "I'm alive!" entry?

So, um. This account is old. I just really wanted to celebrate Robin's birthday that I dusted it off. Even if I'm a day late.

Wow how awkward some of the stuff on here is. It's sort of embarrassing.

So... I'm now so unbelievably into Teen Titans.

See, we were at a bookstore a few months ago and I found a box set of BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES, which is most likely the greatest show from my childhood. Aside from Captain Planet, but I'm the only one in the world who likes that show anyway.

So I was watching some episodes with my friends, keeping tallies of how many things were blowing up like we do, and my friend's mom walked in and asked if this was the show where Robin was the main character.

My friend's like, no, that's Teen Titans. I mention that I had never really seen Teen Titans, aside from literally 4 episodes that were constantly played on Cartoon Network, because my brothers were against it and I didn't care enough to fight for the TV.

We watched a good 10 episodes that day on her laptop.

So, it's actually ridiculously addicting.

In other news, I can't believe I'm on this site again.

Conan High

Fri Jun 16, 2006, 4:12 PM
I'm unbearabley in love with Detective Conan right now.
Possibley because I just watched all the episodes (that I know of) with KID in them in a row. I'll get started on the movies soon.
It's sad, but I think I'm in love with a cartoon character from the 80's.
For thoughs who have no idea what I'm talking about, in episode 76 of Detective Conan(or Case Closed), they introduce a character from the creator's earlier manga series Magic Kaito. He is Kaitou 1412, or Kaitou KID. And he's just about the smexiest thing I've ever seen.
He's a theif, and steals stuff in a white cape and top hat. He always sends a letter to tell people when and where he'll steal stuff, but it's always in code. And he signs his letters with the most amazing little symbol-signature EVER!
(And, of course, like all new high school male characters, he looks exactly like Shinichi=P Though, technically, Shinichi looks like him, cause KID came first.)

Okay, hopefully y'all ignored that bit of insanity.
Yesterday we went to a very exclusive swim club to celebrate graduation...again.
I've never been there before, but it was really nice.

Ach! My brother's inviting his friend over for a sleepover! Must...stall....somehow....
Haha, perfect time to invite Annie and Mir over to see the magic that is KID!!!!!

Graduation

Sat Jun 10, 2006, 12:14 PM
That's right, in 8 more school days, I will be done with 8th grade!!
We've had lots of fun celebrations that took up my time(I'm gonna use that as my excuse for not being online. That, and finals, which are on Monday-Wednesday. Wish me luck!)
I went to NYC again, and saw another Broadway play. This time it was Spamalot. T'was great.
Our seats sucked, though. We were in the last row of the balcany, and couldn't see half of the stage=P
Now, I'm sure every school has one of those kids who's sort of a nerd but almost everyone in school is friend-ish with them(and has about 20 fangirls). Ours is Cam. On Wednesday, the day of the Broadway show/dinner-dance trip, we told Cam we'd pay him $10 to dance for 5 minutes, (and for some reason, even though he's probably the smartest kid in the grade, he actually thought we'd pay him) and he did. And then the gym teacher caught him on tape for the video yearbook-type thing.
It was great:D

I Live?! Again?!

Woot. So, yah. I'm sorta bad at keeping promises.
Too bad. I'm going to try to stay on DA this time.

I finished Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie=P Hercule Poirot needs to stop bein' so smart.
You know who else needs to stop being so smart? Conan from Detective Conan. I mean, yah, he's secretly 17, but that freaky little genious kid...no. Just...no.

I got me some new glasses. They be emo-kid glasses.

SQUEE!

Sat Apr 15, 2006, 11:52 AM
A'ight, so, my friend Claire was at the comic book store a week or so ago, and being the amazing person that she is, she decided to buy SQUEE!
Having just read the entire series(+the Meanwhiles... WHB, and Happy Noodle Boy), I am now reconsidering buying JTHM.
But I have these two friends, Miranda and Kianna. Miranda's dad is practically the strictest Christian I've ever met, and Kianna doesn't take the sorta things in SQUEE! very well(for example, she couldn't watch one part of the Anne Frank movie, because she got really depressed and just generally freaked out.) And for some reason(probably because it's Jhonen Vasquez), they both want to read SQUEE! really bad.
We tried showing Kianna that bit with the puppy(you know, the one that gets run over like 3 times), but she left before we got to the actual running over part.
And Miranda is just...sorta bad at hiding things like SQUEE!
Any sugestions on what to doooo?

On a non-JV related note, Maura and I have opened up a DA account for the colored versions of SHOE. Okay, it was mostly Maura. But who cares?
If(for some reason) you like SHOE, go visit . Cause they in color.
